Piston Flow Type of FM200 Fire Suppression System
Description:
Heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea/FM200) is a clean gas fire extinguishing agent that primarily extinguishes fires chemically, while also providing physical extinguishing properties. It is colorless, odorless, low-toxic, non-conductive, and non-contaminating to the objects being protected.
Our company's externally stored pressurized heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea) fire extinguishing system (compliant with standard Q/HFRD 001-2046) incorporates advanced domestic and international gas fire extinguishing research technologies, offering high strength, safety, reliability, and easy operation and maintenance. It features both automatic and manual activation. Relying on an external drive, it delivers the agent over a greater distance within the effective fire extinguishing time.
This automatic fire extinguishing system primarily consists of a fire extinguishing agent storage cylinder, container valve, power drive cylinder assembly, drive gas cylinder assembly, selector valve, liquid check valve, gas check valve, safety valve, signal feedback device, cylinder frame, nozzle, high-pressure hose, pressure reducing device, level gauge, low-leakage, high-sealing valve, and piping system, allowing it to be assembled into a standalone unit. It can be used in various forms, such as combined distribution systems, to provide single-zone and multi-zone fire protection. It is widely used in computer rooms, power distribution rooms, telecommunications centers, libraries, archives, treasure collection rooms, underground projects, and other locations for Class A surface fires, Class B and C fires, and electrical equipment fires. However, it is not suitable for fires involving active substances such as potassium, sodium, magnesium, and uranium, as well as metal chlorides and digestive fiber.
Fire extinguishing principle of fire extinguishing agent:
HFC-227ea fire extinguishing agent extinguishes fire mainly due to its fast heat removal speed. Its fire extinguishing principle is composed of the following three parts:
1) cooling the protected area; 2) dispersion of fire extinguishing agent; 3) consumption of oxygen.
(1) HFC-227ea fire extinguishing agent is sprayed into the protected area in liquid form. When spraying out of the nozzle, the liquid fire extinguishing agent can quickly turn into gas and absorb the heat of the master. It reduces the temperature of the protected area and the surrounding of the flame.
(2) HFC-227ea fire extinguishing agent is composed of large molecules. When extinguishing a fire, some of the bonds in the molecules are broken and heat is absorbed.
(3) The spraying of fire extinguishing agent and the presence of flame in the protected area reduce the concentration of oxygen, thereby reducing the combustion rate.
Working principle of independent unit system
The working principle of this system is relatively simple. Only when a fire occurs, the alarm control panel issues a command. After a delay, the solenoid valve opens and releases the nitrogen in the driving gas bottle group. The starting gas passes through the starting pipeline, opens the power drive bottle group to work, and the gas in the power drive bottle group pushes the fire extinguishing agent in the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle. The fire extinguishing agent passes through the connecting hose and the liquid flow one-way valve into the collecting pipe, the delivery pipe network, and the nozzle to spray the fire extinguishing agent into the protected area to put out the fire.

Applications:
It is widely used in computer rooms, power distribution rooms, telecommunications centers, libraries, archives, treasure chest and underground engineering for the class A, B, C fire and electrical equipment fire. But it is not applicable to potassium, sodium, magnesium, uranium and active metal chloride and digestive fiber fire places.
Working Principles and Operations of Various Activation Modes:
Automatic Control—Set the control mode selector on the fire extinguishing controller to "Automatic." When a fire detector in a protected area signals a fire, the alarm control panel automatically sounds an audible and visual alarm. Simultaneously, a linkage command is issued to close interlocking devices (such as ventilation and air conditioning systems, fire shutters, etc.). After a pre-set 30-second delay, a signal is output to activate the fire extinguishing system, causing the electromagnetically activated gas cylinders in the corresponding protected area to open. The release of priming gas opens the corresponding selector valves and fire extinguishing agent storage cylinders, releasing the fire extinguishing agent and extinguishing the fire.
Manual Control—Set the control mode selector on the fire extinguishing controller to "Manual." When a fire detector in a protected area signals a fire, the alarm control panel automatically sounds an audible and visual alarm. At the same time, a linkage command is issued to shut down related equipment (such as ventilation and air conditioning, fire shutter doors, etc.), but no signal to start the fire extinguishing system is output. At this time, the on-duty personnel need to confirm the fire and press the manual control button on the fire extinguishing controller or the emergency start button outside the protection zone to open the driving gas cylinder group and the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle according to the automatic procedure, release the fire extinguishing agent, and implement fire extinguishing.
