The IG100 fire suppression system is an inert gas fire suppression device that uses 100% nitrogen (N₂) as the fire suppression medium. It belongs to a type of clean gas fire suppression system. This system achieves rapid, safe, and residue-free fire suppression by reducing the oxygen concentration in the protected area to a level that does not support combustion. The working principle of the IG100 fire extinguishing system
IG100 uses pure nitrogen gas as the fire extinguishing agent. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring inert gas that makes up approximately 78% of the air volume. When the system is activated, high-pressure nitrogen gas is rapidly released through the pipeline network into the protected area, reducing the oxygen concentration to approximately 12% - 15%, thereby suppressing the combustion reaction.
Its fire-extinguishing process is a physical extinguishing method and does not involve chemical reactions. Therefore, it has:

The standard IG100 pipe network system usually consists of:

1.Fire detection
The system detects the fire through smoke sensors, temperature sensors, and other detection devices.
2.Automatic Confirmation and Delay
The control system detects the fire alarm signal and enters the delay stage, then issues an audible and visual alarm.
3.System Startup
The activation device starts the driving cylinder, which in turn causes the main bottle valve to open.
4. Nitrogen release
High-pressure nitrogen is transported through the pipeline network to the nozzles and evenly released into the protected area.
5.Fire extinguished
The oxygen concentration dropped to the extinguishing level, and the flame went out.
